You are here
Due to the NSW Government COVID-19 public health orders, our nine branches are temporarily closed and in-person programs cancelled.
However, you can still join our libraries online and then you can immediately access our eLibrary, which is open 24-7 with eBooks, audiobooks, movies, magazines and more.
Check back here for more updates, or follow us on Facebook.
Libraries are not just for books (although we have an extensive collection!); they can be accessed for digital resources, computers, classes, activities and more. Find out what each Library and Knowledge Centre offers by clicking on the links below.
Library Membership is free and you can even
join online. Next time you visit the library, bring your photo ID and proof of name and address to receive your library card.
Under Council's Library Services Policy, which came into effect on 1 July 2018, parents/guardians of children under 12 years of age must remain on library premises. Anyone under 16 years of age must have a parent authority to join the library. For more details, download our Library Services Policy.
Lost cards can be replaced at a cost of $3 with photo ID/ proof of name and address.
24-hour return facilities are available at Campsie, Bankstown, Riverwood and Chester Hill Library and Knowledge Centres. An after-hours return chute is available at Lakemba Library and Knowledge Centre.
