Library membership is free and you can even join online. Next time you visit the library, bring your photo ID and proof of name and address to receive your library card.

Under Council's Library Services Policy, which came into effect on 1 July 2018, parents/guardians of children under 12 years of age must remain on library premises. 24-hour return facilities are available at Campsie, Bankstown, Riverwood and Chester Hill Library and Knowledge Centres. An after-hours return chute is available at Lakemba Library and Knowledge Centre.
