Currently being renovated-back soon!
Hurlstone Park bookworms were the first recipients of the City of Canterbury Bankstown's first Little Free Library, located next to Hurlstone Park Train Station!
A much valued addition to the Hurlstone Park local streetscape, built by Canterbury Men's Shed, the Little Free Library comes in the form of a miniature red telephone booth.
Hurlstone Park train travellers and bookworms are able to read on their way to work or when passing by and can then return the book to the Little Free Library when they are finished.
They can also leave one of their own for someone else to come along read.
The purpose behind this Little Free Library is to promote literacy and reading across the City of Canterbury Bankstown, and Hurlstone Park residents were the first to benefit from the "novel" approach.
