Earlwood Library and Knowledge Centre will be closed Saturday 26 September-Saturday 10 October while the main air conditioning system is upgraded.
The new system will provide greater comfort for visitors ahead of summer.
Earlwood Library will reopen on Monday 12 October.

Earlwood Library's children's area is one of the coziest corners to get lost in the pages of a book.
Please note: children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian with them at all times inside our libraries.

There is FREE public Wi-Fi available at Earlwood Library.
There are 4 public computers - all you need is your Canterbury-Bankstown Library card and PIN to log in!
There is one additional computer for searching our library catalogue only.
Our FREE Justice of the Peace (JP) service at Earlwood Library is available every Tuesday, 10am-noon, and Thursday, 5-7pm.
No bookings needed! Just make sure all your documents are ready and photocopied before getting your ticket number for the queue.
JPs can: witness a person making a statutory declaration or affidavit, and to certify copies of original documents.
JPs cannot: assist or write in a statutory declaration or affidavit and provide you with legal advice.
Use your Canterbury-Bankstown library card to load credit at the self-service kiosk for printing and photocopying.
Print from your own device or log-in to any of our computers to print.

How to get to Earlwood Library and Knowledge Centre:
Bus routes to and from numerous suburbs travel along Homer and William Street, Earlwood. 491,, 473.
There is a bus stop directly outside Earlwood Library on William St for bus 423 and 423X in the direction towards Kingsgrove.
Buses also stop on Homer Street and is a short walk to the library.
There is very limited street parking surrounding Earlwood Library.
Bardwell Park train station is the nearest train station to Earlwood Library and Knowledge Centre.
It is approximately a 10-minute walk along Hartill-Law Avenue.
It is serviced by the T8 Airport and South Line.
