Tree planting at Pat O’Connor Reserve

Join our planting day at Pat O’Connor Reserve, Canterbury to help boost native habitat

Sunday 21 September, 10am-noon

Enjoy a relaxing morning of tree planting with fellow community members.

We'll be planting a mix trees, shrubs, grasses and groundcovers to boost habitat for local wildlife. The planted area will help cool our local area, provide food and refuge for small birds and other wildlife, support a diversity of insects including important pollinators and shelter for ground-dwelling animals like frogs and lizards.

This is a family friendly event. The event will be held on uneven ground. It is not recommended for prams or people with limited mobility.

Registrations for this event will open from 9am, 20 August.

Note: children under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present for the duration of the event.
