Art exhibition: Serpent women then and now

Coinciding with the Year of the Snake, join us at Campsie Library for Serpent Women Then and Now, a two–week art exhibition by Lucienne Fontannaz, launched with an inspiring illustrated talk by the artist.

Lucienne will exhibit a selection of her Serpent Woman paintings and share stories of trials, tribulations and triumphs of famous female serpent deities across cultures. The talk, including question time, will be in English with Chinese translation.

值此蛇年之际，Lucienne Fontannaz博士将在 Campsie 图书馆举办个人画展 Serpent Women Then and Now，展期为两周。

诚邀大家来参加画展开幕式暨艺术讲座。届时，Lucienne 博士将展出其“蛇女神”系列精选画作，讲述多位在不同文化中广为流传的蛇形女神——她们历经苦难、抗争与重生的神话故事，带领观众一同探寻这些女性形象所蕴含的象征意义与精神力量。讲座将以英语进行，配有中文翻译，并设有问答环节。
