How works may affect you

For the duration of the works, Austin Reserve will be fully closed to the public, including the playground, open space, and all access points.

Residents may experience some temporary inconvenience such as construction noise and vehicle movement near the site.

Efforts will be made to minimise disruptions, and all works will be carried out in accordance with environmental and safety regulations.

The works will include the removal of old play structures, fencing, footpaths, and synthetic turf, followed by extensive excavation, civil works, new drainage installation, landscaping, and the installation of new park furniture and playground equipment.

Once completed, the upgraded reserve will feature a new play tower, rockers, swings, and safe playground surfacing, all designed to meet Australian safety standards.

This upgrade is important as it will provide a safer, more accessible, and engaging space for local families and children to enjoy outdoor play and recreation, supporting community wellbeing and active lifestyles.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work to deliver a safer, more enjoyable park for everyone.

WHEN WILL WORKS OCCUR?

Work will start Mid-Jun 2025 and is anticipated to be completed by End-September of 2025 – weather permitting.

Work will be completed between 7am and 5pm (Monday to Friday).
