At my school

TEXT REQUIRED

The teachers network provides a platform for educators within all sectors to come together to share ideas, knowledge and resources.

The network will primarily focus on collaboration and support for people with an interest in environmental education and is open to representatives from both primary and secondary, government and non-government schools as well as other interested environmental educators.

Meetings are held in week 6 of each term from 4:00-5:30pm

If you are interested in attending, please contact Tarah Slattery on 9707 9958 or email tarah.slattery@cbcity.nsw.gov.au

Each year, Council gives away native plants to local schools in order to increase biodiversity in our local area. Plants are available in July-August, in time for National Tree Day.

Information is sent out to schools prior to the giveaways, however, if you would like more details, contact Council on 9707 9000.

Recycling is a great way to reduce your environmental impact. Along with other waste services recycling is organised by the school and not supplied by council.

For information on how to implement a recycling program in your school, and other educational opportunities please download our schools recycling guide here.
