Volunteer at our Library and Knowledge Centres
Volunteers are a valuable part of the City's Library and Knowledge Centres.
They help deliver activities and services to the community including:
- Running knitting clubs
- Help with running technology classes
- Helping with English conversation classes
- Helping with children's story time programs in community languages
As a volunteer you can get to know new people, contribute to the wellbeing of our community and also gain experience and expertise.
You can volunteer for just a few hours a month.

Bankstown Meals on Wheels began in 1966 with 16 clients. Today, the service delivers around 36,000 meals a year
