Twilight Sports is a non-competitive indoor sports program aimed at encouraging social inclusion and participation for young people aged 12-18 in a fun way. The program is designed to engage young people in our community through sport in a safe, supervised environment and benefits them by:

  • Providing positive role models
  • Giving access to local youth and support services
  • Offering opportunities to participate in a variety of physical team sports
  • Promoting safe activities out of school hours
  • Building self-esteem and resilience in young people.

Payment is refundable for your next tournament with 100% attendance or if you refer a new friend - email twilightsports@cbcity.nsw.gov.au if you require assistance with payment.

The Twilight Sports program includes dinner, uniforms and transport from two local train stations to the venue then home at the end of the night if you live within the LGA. It is also a safe place where young people are encouraged to participate in life skills workshops in order to become more physically, socially and mentally healthy.

Both players and volunteers are encouraged to:

  • Enjoy the spirit of the game and not focus on winning
  • Use the games to build both playing skills and interpersonal relationships
  • Give all players an opportunity, regardless of skills and experience.

The program also offers volunteering opportunities and training for other members of the community – please scroll down for more information on this.'
