How works may affect you
While works are underway, there may be some temporary noise, dust and reduced parking near the site. We’ll make every effort to minimise impacts and works will be caried out according to environmental and safety regulations.Thank you for your understanding while we work on this important upgrade for our community.
City of Canterbury Bankstown is carrying out works to upgrade the playground at Werona Reserve in Punchbowl to create an enhanced play area for local families and visitors.
The scope of works include:
- Removal of existing playground equipment and mulch
- Installation of new playground equipment, soft fall mulch and asphalt pathway
The upgrade is expected to be completed in October 2026, weather permitting.
