Treasure the Moment – Dementia Care and Wellbeing Expo
 
Join us for our FREE expo and discover how you can support yourself, a neighbour or a loved one living with dementia.
  • Conversations with those living with and caring for individuals with dementia
  • Interactive information sessions and workshops
  • Engaging activities including chair yoga, tai-chi, arts and crafts
  • Resources on local support services and community groups in Canterbury-Bankstown
  • Lucky door prizes and a sensory room experience
Bring a friend and take part in our efforts to create a dementia-friendly city.

Mental Health Month

CBCity is hosting a variety of events to support our community during Mental Health Month in October. 

Why not try out laughter yoga? This movement and breathing exercise aims to cultivate joy, bring out your inner child and help you let go of stresses in your daily life.

3x3 Basketball Tournament

Grab your teammates and join us at MIISC for a 3x3 tournament that includes music, prizes and competitive energy! 

When: Saturday 26 October, 10.30am-3pm
Where: Morris Iemma Indoor Sports Centre, 150 Belmore Road North, Riverwood  
Cost: $25 for individual, or $80 for a team registration.  
Who: Age 16 and over 

Movies Under the Stars – on this Saturday!

Get your picnic blanket and popcorn ready for starlit cinema this spring. 

First up – we’re showing Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire at Gough Whitlam Park in Earlwood on Saturday 5 October.

Make sure you get there from 5pm to enjoy games, activities, a DJ and an inflatable obstacle course before the movie starts around 7.30pm. 

Please note: films classified M (Mature) contain content of a moderate impact and are recommended for teenagers aged 15 years and over.
