Important information regarding Canterbury-Bankstown Libraries

All 9 Canterbury-Bankstown Libraries and Knowledge Centres will be closed from 8pm on Monday 23 Mar 2020 until further notice.

Please note the following:

  • Items currently on loan will be automatically renewed on the due date.  Members with borrowed items will not be fined or penalised for keeping items past their due date.  If members wish to return items, and are able to do so, return chutes are available 24/7 at Bankstown, Campsie, Chester Hill, Lakemba and Riverwood Libraries.

  • Members will not be able to place reservations online, nor will staff be able to place them on your behalf.

  • Members are encouraged to visit the library website at cb.city/eresources to borrow eBooks, eAudio, eMovies, eComics, eMagazines and to discover our extensive range of online resources 24/7.    

  • Not a member?  Join online now to immediately access our online resources.

  • If your library membership has expired please call 9789 9423 and we will verify your details and renew your membership over the phone.  If under 18 years, the guarantor will need to verify personal details.

  • Library staff are available on 9789 9423 Monday to Friday 9am-5pm for general enquiries. Simply phone and select from the branch list to speak directly to a staff member.
