Our Click and Collect service allows our members to reserve their favourite resources, including books, magazines and DVDs, over the phone or online, before arranging a time for pickup.

How to use our Click and Collect service

  • Visit our online library catalogue to reserve your favourite items; or

  • Call us on 9789 9423​ to make a reservation;

  • We'll contact you to arrange pickup of your reservations.

Service updates

On Monday 1 June, Bankstown and Campsie Library and Knowledge Centres will reopen to the general public with limited resources available. Access is by booking only. All other library branches will remain closed.
What you can do:

  • Use Council’s new click and collect service across all nine branch libraries;

  • Return books via the 24-hour return chutes at Bankstown, Campsie, Chester Hill, Lakemba and Riverwood libraries. Returns can be processed manually at all other branches;

  • At Campsie and Bankstown libraries, two computers and one photocopy machine will be available by booking only;

  • At Campsie, library meeting rooms will partially reopen for study and free WiFi access, by booking only. All usage must strictly observe the one person per four square metre rule.

From Monday 15 June these services will expand to include:

  • At all branch libraries (except Panania Library), number of computers and photocopy machine will be available by booking only​.​​​

  • All branch libraries (except Panania Library) to partially reopen meeting rooms or spaces for study and free WiFi access, by booking only. All usage must strictly observe the one person per four square metre rule.

  • At Campsie and Bankstown libraries, limited front desk lending services will be made available.

  • Walk-in access will be limited. To ensure you have access to the library and avoid disappointment, please make a booking.

For the safety of all our community members and staff, there will be no access to library collections or browsing of book shelves. All borrowing of books, magazines, DVDs and other library resources will only be available through the click and collect service and the front desk lending service​.  

Resources available through the eLibrary continue to operate as normal, available 24/7. Access a​ range of online services here.
