JP Services

We encourage you to call your library to make sure the JP is available. To find a local JP outside the times listed below, visit https://www.jp.nsw.gov.au/findajp and enter your postcode.

  • ​Witness a person making a Statutory Declaration
  • Witness a person making an Affidavit
  • Certify that a copy of an original document is a true and accurate copy
  • ​Mortgages
  • Company Registration
  • Guarantees
  • Wills
  • Power of Attorney
  • Proof of Life
  • Overseas documents

These documents should be taken to a Solicitor, a Notary Public or a third party that has the authority to explain and discuss the document.
