Another season of ducking, dipping, diving and dodging is back at Morris Iemma Indoor Sports Centre this March.
The 12-week Super League Dodgeball Competition will run on Wednesday evenings from 27 March-12 June and is open to all skill levels, from seasoned players to dodgeball rookies.
In partnership with Dodgeball Sydney, beginners can learn the adrenaline-pumping sport from some of the best players in Sydney in a fun and encouraging environment.
Canterbury-Bankstown Mayor Bilal El-Hayek said last year’s competition was a real “hit” and Council is bringing it back for more fast-paced action and fierce (but fun) rivalries.
“Last season was a huge success, with plenty of athleticism, laughter and community spirit on the court,” Mayor El-Hayek said.
“I encourage everyone to get a team of colleagues, friends or family together and give it a go.”
All women, mixed and all men teams of 6-10 players are invited to register for the tournament.
Those new to the sport can come along and try dodgeball in an open evening on Wednesday 6, 13 and 20 March.
