Join professional photographer Scott McGale for an exclusive workshop at Yana Badu Wetlands – a stunning natural haven rarely open to the public. This picturesque location offers the perfect backdrop to learn the essentials of wildlife photography in a relaxed, hands-on setting.

In this educational and inspiring session, you’ll explore one of CBCity’s most beautiful natural areas while developing your photography skills. Topics include:

  • Capturing different types of wildlife and choosing the right camera settings
  • Photographing birds in flight
  • Taking striking macro shots
  • Using natural light creatively
  • Adjusting settings for still and moving subjects
  • And much more!

What to bring: participants must bring their own DSLR or mirrorless camera.

Cost: a small fee ($10) applies to secure your spot and ensure attendance.

Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, this workshop is a fantastic opportunity to learn from a pro in a truly special location.

Registrations for this event will open from 9am, 20 August.

Accessibility: the workshop will be a gentle stroll over uneven ground. It is not suitable for prams or people with limited mobility.

Note: this activity is not suitable for children under 12 years. Children under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present for the duration of the event.
