Literature talk in Mandarin: Japanese aesthetics in literature

Join us in this talk about Japan’s literature with Wentao Lu, President of the Chinese Writers Federation of New South Wales. Learn how Japan’s unique aesthetic traditions have shaped the course of its literature. The Tale of Genji, widely regarded as the world’s first full-length novel, depicts the peak of the Japanese classical culture and its imperial court in the early 11th century.

陆文涛先生将以被誉为世界第一部长篇小说的《源氏物语》为起点，带领大家探讨日本独特的审美传统如何深刻影响了日本文学的发展。

陆文涛，笔名闻涛。出生于上海，定居澳大利亚三十余年。从小学诗词，工作之余偶尔练笔。在海外报刊上发表过小说、散文、杂文、随笔和诗歌等，多篇作品获奖，并著有商业类书籍《澳洲生意经》（2001 年出版）。现任澳大利亚新州华文作协会长。
