Prepare for the test

To prepare for the test you should:

read the Australian Citizenship: Our Common Bond booklet
listen to Our Common Bond podcast
do the citizenship practice test
use the Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP) Online citizenship modules.

The Australian citizenship test is conducted in English only, but the Australian Citizenship: Our Common Bond is available in 40 community languages.

Questions in the citizenship test are based on:

Australia and its people
Australia's democratic beliefs, rights and liberties
government and the law in Australia
an understanding and commitment to Australian values based on freedom, respect and equality.
