Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP)
The Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP) outlines CBCity’s commitment to fostering positive attitudes and behaviours, creating liveable communities, increasing opportunities for employment and economic participation and improving systems and processes
The Plan was prepared in consultation with the community and reflects the needs of people with disability living in, working in and visiting Canterbury-Bankstown.
Building on the good work undertaken during Council’s last DIAP, our new DIAP for 2026-30 is more ambitious, focusing on going above the bare minimum and considering principles of universal design.
The DIAP was adopted by Council on 19 May 2026, with implementation beginning on 1 July 2026.
