New Credit/Debit Surcharge - Effective 1 July, 2021

Valued Customers,
Please be advised that from 1 July 2021, a credit/debit card surcharge will be applied to all transactions at Council’s Leisure & Aquatic Centres and Sefton Golf Course.
The surcharge is an adopted charge within Council’s Fees and Charges structure and will be applied to cover the merchant fees that Council is charged by the Bank to provide this payment facility.
The surcharge is 0.62% and will be automatically added to program and service fees when a credit/debit card is used.
Customers can avoid paying the surcharge by inserting their savings/debit card into the terminal at the time of payment. Tap and go facilities will incur the surcharge.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
