Doing it tough can feel isolating, but you don’t have to face it alone. Lyora Matta First Nations Cultural Hub’s Community Open Hands invites you to a safe, welcoming space where you can take what you need with no shame, no judgment and no strings attached.
We offer a wide range of items to support individuals and families in need, including:
- Pantry staples
- Donated clothing items for all ages
- Personal hygiene products
- Household essential and more
Whether you’re experiencing hardship or simply need a little extra support, our doors are open. Come as you are, take what helps and know that your community cares.

The Wiradjuri Language for Beginners program is traditionally taught through story, song, art and direct instruction, using a variety of resources and activities.
Families Connect to Culture
Families Connect to Culture includes a range of culturally embedded experiences for First Nations children and families, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander dance, budget cooking, art and craft, weaving and dreamtime stories
