CBCity Libraries' annual summer reading challenge is back!
All young readers 0-18 years are welcome to take part in the biggest summer reading challenge in Australia.
The program starts on the 1st December and finishes on the 31st January each year and registration is free.
For children 0-5 years
Preschool story time
Storytime the perfect introduction to the library and reading books for children aged 2-5 years and their parents.
We also offer story time in languages other than English.

Toddler time
Fun, interactive sessions with songs, dance and stories—perfect for little ones 18 month to 3 years, including those with additional needs.
Available at Bankstown, Campsie and Riverwood Libraries.
Baby rhyme time
Sing, rhyme and bond! Relaxed sessions for parents and babies to build early language skills through music and repetition.
Our youngest library members have their own special time at all nine CBCity Library branches!

Get ready for big school
The time has come, and we can help give your child a head start for kindergarten. Get school ready with confidence!
This program supports children and parents through the transition to school, aligning with the NSW Department of Education guidelines for a positive start.

For children and youth 5-17 years
Help with reading
Boost reading confidence! For children in Years 1–6 who need extra help with reading.
Available at Campsie, Chester Hill, Greenacre, Panania and Riverwood Libraries.
Homework help
Our friendly tutors in the library help students in primary and high school tackle homework and assignments from school.
