The third drop-off location is now at Carysfield Park, Bass Hill (Johnston Road car park). We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused. 

If your red or yellow bin is overflowing this Ramadan, we can help. Residents of Canterbury-Bankstown can drive up and drop off extra waste and recyclables to one of three locations – free of charge.

  • Wise Reserve, Riverwood
  • 137 Beamish Street, Campsie (Council administration centre – entry via Shakespeare Street)
  • Carysfield Park, Bass Hill (Johnston Road car park)

What can I drop off?

Anything that you would normally put in your yellow or red bin can be taken to one of the three drop-off areas.

We will not accept the following items:

  • Paints
  • Chemicals
  • Gas bottles
  • Building waste
  • Tyres
  • Mattresses
  • Bulky waste such as furniture
  • Electrical and electronic waste (TVs, computers, etc.)
  • Batteries
  • Green waste (branches, grass clippings, leaves, etc.)
  • White goods and appliances
