Council has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Touched by Olivia Foundation (TBOF) to partner in the advocacy, support and fundraising for the delivery of an all-abilities inclusive playground for Bankstown City Gardens located on Restwell Street in the Bankstown CBD.
Council proposes the development of a comprehensive all-abilities playground that utilises the entire site, and caters for a broad range of disabilities. Council has already committed to constructing a toilet amenities building with an accessible, ambulant and 'changing places' facility which includes an overhead gantry and hoist system, height adjustable change table and wash area.

Bankstown City Gardens (part of Memorial Park) provides the perfect setting for tai chi, meditation and small wedding ceremonies. The shelters and play equipment also make it a good place for a small picnic lunch with the family.
