Youth Week

Dream. Dare. Do.

Thursday 16-Sunday 26 April 2026

Youth Week is a week-long celebration organised by young people, for young people, held in communities across the NSW.

This year Youth Week is back louder, bolder and more exciting than ever, celebrating more than 65,000 young people aged 12-24 who call Canterbury-Bankstown home.

We work with youth organisations, schools and young people to host free events, activities and competitions that help our youth to connect with each other, express themselves and get involved in their local community.

Celebrate Youth Week by:

  • attending live events
  • showcasing your talents
  • taking part in competitions
  • using your voice to advocate for what young people need in your community
  • and most importantly – having fun!

Volunteer for Youth Week

Looking for a way to get involved this Youth Week? Volunteering is a fantastic opportunity to give back, meet new people and gain valuable skills. Whether it’s helping at events, supporting activities or spreading the word about Youth Week’s programs, your contribution makes a real difference in the community.

Benefits of volunteering:

  • Develop teamwork, communication and leadership abilities
  • Meet new friends and expand your network
  • Gain experience that can help with study, work or future volunteering opportunities
  • Experience the satisfaction of making a positive impact and being part of something bigger

Step up, get involved and celebrate the power of your peers in action!
