Christmas is the time of giving, so we’re hosting a toy drive for kids in need
Help bring joy to Canterbury-Bankstown children in need this Christmas by donating NEW, unwrapped items:
  • Arts and craft supplies
  • Beach towels, hats, sunglasses and sunscreen
  • Toys, books and stationery
  • Gift cards and vouchers
Donations can be dropped off up until Wednesday 11 December during opening hours at our customer service centres and Bankstown and Campsie libraries.
Never bin a battery, they can spark a fire!

Never put a battery of any kind in your household bin! They can ignite and explode, causing fires.

Watch a fire take hold of one of our garbage trucks because of a battery.

But don’t worry, it’s easy to find a place near you to drop off unwanted batteries. Your local IGA, Coles, Woolworths, Bunnings and Aldi should have a battery drop-off box for most common household batteries.
