Greenacre Citizen's Centre is conveniently located in the heart of Greenacre and is one of Council's largest and most popular facilities available for hire.

Located on the bustling Waterloo Road, Greenacre Citizens' Centre is one of Council's largest and most popular facilities. The main hall can accommodate up to 150 people (inclusive of children) and features a light-filled interior, timber flooring and plug-in microphone PA system. Featuring full kitchen facilities adjacent to the main hall, Greenacre Citizens' Centre is well suited for a variety of family functions, birthday parties and community gatherings.
This venue has a large public carpark out the front of the Centre, ample street parking and is fully accessible.
Please be aware that Meals on Wheels operate out of the Centre during weekdays.
- Maximum capacity: 150 people
- Facilities: A large kitchen with a fridge, stove, oven and microwave. There is a zip boiling hot water system.
- Air-conditioning: Yes.
- Room equipment: 26 tables and 150 Chairs. Wooden floorboards. Hirers must supply all their own cutlery, plates, glasses and table cloths.
- PA system: A wired microphone can be provided on request. A Bluetooth connection available for you to connect your own device.
- Balcony access: Due to nearby homes, access to the balcony is limited to daytime bookings that end by 5pm. Evening bookings will not have access to the balcony.
- Rear grassed area access: The grassed area at the back of the facility is not to be accessed.
- Jumping castle: This space can not accommodate a jumping castle.
- WIFI access: No.
- Accessibility: Accessible toilets and wheelchair access to venue as it is on the ground level.
- Parking: Carpark out the front. Parking also available on the street.

Monday to Thursday: 8am to 10pm
Friday: 8am to midnight
Saturday: 8am to midnight
Sunday: 8am to 10pm

No bookings can be taken over the phone and no spaces held. To book a facility, please submit an Application for Casual Hall Hire for Community Halls and Centres online. A booking can only be accepted and confirmed once full payment of hire fees and applicable bonds has been received.
Please note that all applications to hire a venue must be submitted and paid in full at least seven (7) business days prior to the proposed date of hire.
We encourage all hirers to familiarise themselves with the Terms and Conditions of Hire prior to booking a facility.
Access to the facility, including all set up and pack down, is strictly limited to the booked day(s) and time(s) listed on your Confirmation Letter. Entering the facility early or overstaying your hire will be considered a breach of hire and a penalty of double the hourly rate may be deducted from the security bond.
In certain circumstances, charges may be deducted from the security bond for any damage, additional cleaning, non-activation of alarms, smoking or vaping in the facility, attendance of emergency services due to misuse of the facility or its equipment or anti-social behaviour resulting in damage to the facility or complaints by neighbouring residents.
