A Notice of Discontinuance (NOD) is filed by Council’s Legal Recovery Firm, Recoveries and Reconstruction (Aust.) Pty Ltd (R&R) to conclude legal proceedings, when the action has progressed to Judgment. 

Once filed, the document prevents either party from taking any further action on the legal file with the Court and confirms the legal account is closed.
