Kids have their own eLibrary, with everything from picture books to young adult literature, plus comics, audiobooks, kids books in other languages and more! 

​Story Box Library

Story Box Library is a fun and educational website, featuring videos of stories by local authors and illustrators, being read aloud by predominantly Australian and New Zealand storytellers. Find printable Activity Times for some offline fun. Stay logged in, save your watch history and personal playlists. 

Get Started

Click on the link or download the brand-new app on Apple or Android. Choose "Log in with Library Access," choose the library "Canterbury-Bankstown Library" and log in with your library card number. Create an account with your email and a password. Keep track of your password - future logins will ask for your library card number and password.

BorrowBox

The huge collection in BorrowBox includes some of the most popular Australian and international kids’ fiction available,  as both eBooks and Audiobooks. There are even some picture eBooks and exciting eAudiobooks for younger children.

Get Started

To read or listen on your mobile device, visit Google Play or the App Store and download the BorrowBox app. If you're a first-time user, create an account with your email address and a username. Log in using your library card number and date of birth (DDMMYY), choose a book and start reading (or listening)! Or  browse and borrow on the BorrowBox website.

Libby

Libby's incredible range includes eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines and eComics for kids. Multiple copies are usually available, meaning less wait time for new titles. There are even some Read Along titles with pictures, voices and sound effects.

Download the Libby app from Google Play or the App Store, add your library card number, input your date of birth (DDMMYY)  and start reading (or listening)! Or browse and borrow on the Libby web page.

​LOTE 4 Kids

LOTE 4 Kids allows children to enjoy the magic of books in over 65 languages from the comfort of home, alongside English translations to help developing reading and listening skills. There are also puzzles, games and free colouring pages. NOW with an app! Download it here

Stream movies, documentaries and more! From popular award-winners to independent features, it’s all waiting for you on Beamafilm.

Get Started

Click on the Beamafilm link, then use your library card to create an account. Then just sign in each time, or download the app, to watch from where you left off and save favourites for later.

Explore amazing adventures in science, nature, culture, archaeology and space for kids. Offers access to the complete archive of National Geographic magazine — every page of every issue — along with a cross-searchable collection of books, maps, images and videos.

Get Started

Log in using your library card. Search, click and read on your computer or tablet. Gale Databases do not save your links or articles after your session, so be sure to download or send links and articles to your email, Onedrive or Google account before you end your session.
