Preschool story time Chester Hill

Story time is a fun and interactive session for parents and children aged 2-5 years old. Join in the fun and introduce your child to the library, books and reading with our interactive story time sessions for parents and children.

These sessions are in English and include stories, songs and activities aimed at encouraging literacy and a love of reading from an early age.

Please note: Preschool story time sessions are open to individual families. Special group bookings for preschool, long day care or family day care are welcomed by appointment.

No bookings required.

Preschool story time runs during school term only. For more information about NSW school term and holiday dates for 2026, please visit the NSW Department of Education website here.
