Earlwood Children's Centre

Earlwood Children’s Centre (ECC) is licensed to care for up to 44 children each day. Children are grouped into three age-based learning environments that support their individual development and learning journey:

• Gandini Room – up to 8 children under 2 years
• Rinaldi Room – up to 15 children aged 2-3 years
• Malaguzzi Room – up to 20 children aged 3-5 years

Our rooms are named after key philosophers from the Italian area and early childhood programs of Reggio Emilia, who inspire our practice.

Our centre features a large outdoor playground where children can engage in a wide range of exciting outdoor activities. 

The outdoor environment includes unique features such as musical instruments, providing opportunities for creativity, exploration and sensory learning. Children are also actively involved in gardening experiences, where they learn about nature, sustainability and caring for the environment. 

These hands-on experiences help foster curiosity, confidence and a love of learning while supporting children's physical, social and emotional development.
