Children and Youth Awards

Do you know a child aged 8-12 or a young person aged 13-18 years who inspires others, uplifts those around them or makes a meaningful difference in Canterbury-Bankstown?

Our annual Children and Youth Awards honour the achievements, creativity and contributions of young people across our City.

Nominate a young person going above and beyond to make our City a better place for all. We’d love to recognise their contributions and share their story.

Nominations open Monday 20 July and close Friday 21 August.

Our finalists will be announced on 28 August 2026 and a ceremony will be held on Friday 18 September 2026

Open to all children aged 8-12 who live or study in Canterbury-Bankstown.

Young people's category

For young people who have shown and outstanding ability to represent, lead and be a positive role model for their peers.
