Community Grants Program
This program provides financial support to assist local community-based organisations with their activities.
The Community Grants Program provides financial support to assist local community-based organisations to develop and implement initiatives that enhance individual and/or community wellbeing in the Canterbury Bankstown Local Government Area.
Grants are issued under five categories: Community, Youth, Arts/Cultural, Sport and Recreation and Events.
Community Grants and Event Sponsorship Program 2025-26
City of Canterbury Bankstown’s 2025-26 Community Grants Program application period has now closed.
We received 162 grant applications from a diverse range of groups seeking over $1.3million.

CONGRATULATIONS to the 98 organisations that will receive a share in over $620,000 to run 128 projects through the program.
