Early Childhood Speech Pathology
Our Early Childhood Speech Pathology service supports children to build strong communication skills and confidence between 0-5 years of age.
We provide individualised assessment and intervention for children experiencing speech, language and communication difficulties.
We understand that every child develops differently and has unique strengths, needs and interests, which is why our evidence-based approach is personalised and child-centred. Our goal is to help children communicate effectively, participate fully in everyday activities, and reach their full potential.
Our qualified and experienced speech pathologist works in partnership with families and educators to ensure consistent, meaningful support across all environments. The service is delivered at your home or your child’s education and care setting, making therapy convenient, familiar and functional.
The service is available to families with children (birth up to school age) who live or attend one of our early childhood education and care services in the City of Canterbury Bankstown, and who may need help in the following areas:
- Speech sounds
- Talking
- Understanding
- Stuttering
- Voice
- Social skills
- Families
- Children's Services Educators
- Early Childhood Health Professionals
There is an initial fee for a communication assessment and a six-monthly administration fee applies for Speech Therapy. A non-refundable application fee is required for the child to be placed on the waiting list.
