This Seniors Festival we're inviting you to celebrate 'Reconnecting' in more ways than one with us. Reconnect with your community and things you enjoy by tuning in to Council’s programs and events throughout Seniors Festival.See the program below, or call 9707 9000 for more information.
All our Seniors Festival events will take place in COVID safe settings. Due to the current NSW Public Health Orders during COVID-19 the program my change at short notice. Please visit the website closer to the event for updates.

Reconnecting Morning Tea
Enjoy morning tea with live entertainment. This event is hosted in partnership with Canterbury-Hurlstone Park RSL, Inner West Council and City of Canterbury Bankstown.
CBCity Seniors Concert
‘Let’s reconnect’ concert with the lovely Back to Trivoli and TAP performances. Hosted by Bankstown Sports Club.
Jason Owen – Sings John Denver concert
Be transported to a world of John Denver. Come along and see Jason Owen sing all of John Denver songs in concert. Morning tea included.
Bus Trips – Nepean Belle Paddlewheeler
Join us for social day trips out to the Nepean Belle Paddlewheeler. Enjoy stops for morning tea, and soak up delicious lunch in great company along the river.

Classic Australian Movie Screening – Smiley Gets a Gun
A sequel to the movie Smiley. Young Smiley gets into more strife as he attempts to prove himself a responsible citizen by helping others, so that he can earn a new gun from Sergeant Flaxman.
Healthy Body Healthy Mind – launch of Tovertafel
Learn how to keep the body and mind healthy as we age. In this workshop, experience the launch of our Tovertafel, an interactive way to stimulate the mind and body.

Classic Australian Movie Screening – The Overlanders
It's the start of WWII in Northern Australia and the Japanese are getting close. People are evacuating and burning everything in a "scorched earth" policy. Rather than kill all their cattle, a disparate group decides to drive them overland half way across the continent.

Classic Australian Movie Screening – Smiley
