Located within walking distance to public transport and local shops, Yagoona Community Centre is a popular facility in a leafy surrounding, set amongst the green open space of the adjacent Gazzard Park.

Set amongst the leafy surroundings and open green space of Gazzard Park and Ron Whitehead Place, Yagoona Community Centre is one of Council's newer and most popular facilities. Featuring a Main Hall that can accommodate up to 100 people (including children), AV capabilities and a spacious well-equipped kitchen, this facility is well suited for a variety of family functions, weddings, birthday parties and community gatherings.
The venue also features two meeting rooms, equipped with AV capabilities, which are ideal for small meetings or classes of up to 30 people each.
The spacious Main Hall features natural light with floor to ceiling curtains, timber flooring, and access to a large well-equipped kitchen.
- Maximum capacity: 100 people (including children)
- Facilities: A large kitchen with a fridge, induction stovetop, oven and microwave. There is a zip hot water boiling system tap.
- Air-conditioning: Yes
- Room equipment: 20 tables and 100 chairs. Hirers must supply all their own cutlery, plates, glasses and table cloths.
- PA system: A plug-and-play wired microphone can be provided on request.
- AV Equipment: The hall features an in-built data projector and speaker system, with visuals able to be projected onto the blank white wall. Hirers must supply their own computer device and HDMI cable to connect.
- Jumping Castle: This space can not accommodate a jumping castle.

Both Meeting Room 1 and 2 can accommodate up to 30 people each and are ideal for small meetings, classes or tuition.
The spaces are not suitable for social gatherings.
The rooms also features an in-built data projector system with a pull-down screen. Hirers must provide their own computer device and HDMI cable to connect to the system.
There is also limited bench space and a sink in each room.

Monday to Thursday: 8am to 10pm
Friday: 8am to midnight
Saturday: 8am to midnight
Sunday: 8am to 10pm

No bookings can be taken over the phone and no spaces held. To book a facility, please submit an Application for Casual Hall Hire for Community Halls and Centres online. A booking can only be accepted and confirmed once full payment of hire fees and applicable bonds has been received.
Please note that all applications to hire a venue must be submitted and paid in full at least seven (7) business days prior to the proposed date of hire.
We encourage all hirers to familiarise themselves with the Terms and Conditions of Hire prior to booking a facility.
Access to the facility, including all set up and pack down, is strictly limited to the booked day(s) and time(s) listed on your Confirmation Letter. Entering the facility early or overstaying your hire will be considered a breach of hire and a penalty of double the hourly rate may be deducted from the security bond.
In certain circumstances, charges may be deducted from the security bond for any damage, additional cleaning, non-activation of alarms, smoking or vaping in the facility, attendance of emergency services due to misuse of the facility or its equipment or anti-social behaviour resulting in damage to the facility or complaints by neighbouring residents.
Please be aware that the booking of Yagoona Community Centre is limited to the booking of the inside Main Hall or Meeting Room as listed on your Confirmation Letter and does not extend to the open green space or Gazzard Park.
