World Music in the Park is a spectacular celebration of our vibrant multicultural community. It promises to be a high energy afternoon of music and joy that you must not miss!
Bring your dancing shoes, along with your family and friends, for a picnic in the park, where you’ll be entertained by world class performers.
Winter is a great time to visit Bankstown and, if you’re a local, it’s the perfect time to rediscover everything that’s so special about the future CBD Cultural Precinct.
There’ll be plenty of food available to purchase near Griffith Park, but feel free to BYO picnic goodies, picnic blanket and seating - all in a Covid-safe environment.
Canterbury-Bankstown Mayor Khal Asfour says he’s hoping to see locals, as well as those who’ve travelled from around Sydney.
“Come along and listen to some great music, support our small businesses and make a day of it! Our Bankstown Winter Weekends program is a great way to really enjoy our vibrant City and spoil yourself with delicious food and free entertainment. I’ll see you there!” Mayor Asfour says.
