Mayor of Canterbury-Bankstown, Bilal El-Hayek, will officially open the centre, which has already welcomed hundreds of local families since opening in late March.

“It’s a fantastic addition to our community, and I’m proud to see it already making such a positive difference,” said Mayor Bilal El-Hayek. 

“As a father myself, I know how these spaces are needed, as a place where families can connect, children can thrive and parents can feel supported,” said Mayor El-Hayek.

Children aged 0-8 will enjoy music, face painting and full access to the exciting new facilities, all FREE. Parents can relax in the comfortable seating area with fresh coffee, smoothies and snacks from the onsite kiosk.

Local mum, Katie, who visits the play centre multiple times a week with her 8-month-old and 4-year-old, says the space ticks all the right boxes for her family.

“It’s such a universal space, perfect for both of my kids to enjoy. I can safely put my baby down while my older one plays. It just works for us,” she said.

“I recommend it to mums all the time. It’s a safe, local space where families can come, bring their kids and feel comfortable.”

The play centre features three vibrant play zones designed for children aged 6 months to 8 years, including soft play areas, climbing features and a huge slide, a favourite with Katie’s son.

“He would go down that slide as much as you possibly let him. It’s his absolute favourite thing!” she laughed. “And my little one loves to lay and still see the kids playing in the background.”

In addition to weekday play (9.30am-3.30pm), the centre is now open for birthday party bookings on weekends, with exclusive access available through a range of packages.

“I had my son’s birthday party here and would hands down do it again. The kids loved it. Now that the play area is even bigger, I’d absolutely come back for another party as he gets older.”
