Welcome to the Office of the CEO, where we partner and support our Mayor, CEO, Councillors, Executive Leadership Team, and Managers. We coordinate efforts across the organisation to support quality service delivery and meet the long-term goals and ambitions of the city. Through strategic stakeholder management, leadership support, and responsive service, we ensure the needs of our community are at the forefront of our planning and service delivery.
The Office of the CEO is responsible for providing strategic coordination and administrative support to Council’s leadership, which includes:
- Supporting the Mayor, Councillors and CEO in the delivery of their duties.
- Partnering with Directors, and Managers to strategically respond to requests from members of the community.
- Preparing relevant reports, VIP correspondence, minutes, agendas and briefing notes to support the achievement of business requirements.
- Media and Communications activities and
- Managing Civic Protocol including coordination of civic events, such as Citizenship Ceremonies.
