Bike check-up, tune and collection
Stop by this FREE event for a 15-minute check-up and tune of your bike to get it back in top shape!
Saturday 31 May, 9am-noon
Tickets go on sale 1 May.
Our bike mechanics will be there to make small repairs and teach the basics of bike safety checks, adjustments and how to fix a flat tyre.
Please note this service is for pushbikes only, e-bikes and e-scooters cannot be serviced at this event.
We will also have a drop-off available for any working or broken bikes you don’t want. These bikes will later be fixed and be donated to those in need. Bikes that aren’t repairable will be collected and dismantled for spare parts and recycled. Bicycles, e-bikes, scooters, e-scooters, children’s bikes, balance bikes and tricycles are all accepted for collection.
Registrations to have a bike check-up are essential. To drop off an unwanted bike, just show up on the day.
This event is only available to residents of Canterbury-Bankstown.
This project is an initiative of the NSW Environment Protection Authority under the NSW Government’s Waste and Sustainable Materials Strategy, and is funded from the waste levy.
