Tony had an illustrious career as a winger and centre. Between 1982 and 1989 he held an impressive record of representation - 15 State of Origin games for Queensland and eight Tests for Australia.

Beginnings
Tony played for Queensland in 1982 and Leeds, UK in 1984-85 before joining Canterbury in 1986. 1988 provided Tony with a premiership victory when the Bulldogs defeated Balmain, 24-12.
Achievements
In 1988 he was chosen to play in the Centenary Test and would be selected to play the other two Tests against Great Britain on the wing.
In 1989 he represented Australia on the tour of NZ but a torn Achilles tendon the following year robbed him of the chance to tour with the 1990 Kangaroos.
Post Representation
On retirement he would continue to contribute to his sport focusing on his Indigenous community.
