If you’ve always wanted to create high quality photography, videos or a podcast to market your business, it’s never been easier than it is right now.

Canterbury-Bankstown Council is proud to launch “Studioventure” – a fantastic new resource centre for businesses and not-for-profits, giving them the opportunity to grow and thrive.

Among the crucial lessons we’ve picked up due to the pandemic is the stark realisation that businesses must navigate a world where their customers are increasingly transfixed by the digital revolution. That’s where Studioventure can be life changing when it comes to transforming the way you’re marketing your business, whether you’re an SME or a not-for-profit.

Situated in the heart of Bankstown CBD, adjacent to the Bryan Brown Theatre, Studioventure is a first for a council in NSW; providing a full-service commercial studio with photography, videography and podcast facilities for our community.

Businesses in our LGA will be able to access all services at a discounted rate, and local start-ups (those less than 24 months old) will receive five free studio hours to kick-start your marketing journey.

The studio has been officially launched by Canterbury-Bankstown Mayor Khal Asfour, who has reiterated Council’s commitment to help foster the growth of new businesses in the area.

“The pandemic changed the way businesses connect with the community and we’re thrilled that Studioventure will give people valuable access to these services, at a very low rate,” Mayor Asfour said.

“The opportunities are endless; you can create a high-quality video presentation for a conference, or a 30 second advertisement. You might be a CEO wishing to start a podcast for your customers or you could be after some slick promotional photographs of your team.  We’re excited to see how creative our community will be once they get involved in Studioventure!”

Antoinette Khalil from the Canterbury Bankstown Chamber of Commerce says Studioventure is an exciting new initiative for local businesses who recognise the need for new ways to market themselves.

“It’s creating opportunities like this for the local community that make Canterbury-Bankstown the ideal destination to live and work. The Chamber looks forward to continuing to work collaboratively with Council with that focus,” Ms Khalil says.

Kane from Integrated Fitness, one of the businesses who were able to test the facilities at Studioventure, found that it was accessible and easy to use for the whole team.

“Having the access to be able to come to a place like this in the local community helps a lot…the facilities hits everything we need for a business.”
