She is also the former owner and manager of the defunct professional cycling team, Wiggle High5.
Beginnings
Rochelle started cycle racing as an under-fives BMX rider. At 14, Rochelle moved into road and track cycling, winning her first of many national track titles at the UCI Junior World points race in 1999 (silver). She then specialised in road racing for more than 10 years. In 2006, she won a stage at the Geelong Women's Tour, took second behind teammate Katherine Bates in the points race at the Commonwealth Games in 2002 and 2006, and earned top five finishes in a Giro d'Italia Femminile stage, the Geelong World Cup, and the Liberty Classic.
Achievements
Rochelle won a silver medal in the UCI Junior World Points Race in 1999, silver in the 2002 and 2003 UCI World Championship scratch races silver in the, points race 2002. Rochelle won silver at the 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games in the points race and capped her career winning a gold medal at the 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games road race.
Post Representation
Rochelle remained a member of Bankstown Sports Cycling Club even after retirement. After retirement Rochelle has still been involved with the cycling community as a commentator and team owner.
