The City of Canterbury Bankstown, in partnership with Multicultural NSW, will host an online community forum to answer questions around the alarming spike in COVID numbers across Greater Sydney.

Canterbury-Bankstown Mayor Khal Asfour will be joined by:

• NSW Premier, Gladys Berejiklian;
• Minister for Multiculturalism, Natalie Ward;
• NSW Health Senior Medical Adviser, Dr Jan Fizzell;
• NSW Police Assistant Commissioner, Tony Cook; and
• Multicultural NSW CEO, Joseph La Posta.

The forum will provide local representatives from various religious, business groups, sporting, education and cultural organisations an opportunity to ask questions about:

• The lockdown;
• Community perceptions;
• Messaging in different languages; and
• Provide insight as to what life after lockdown will look like.

The forum will be held, via Zoom, at 4pm today (Wednesday 14 July).
