Paul Dunn

Paul's early training in Orange junior teams would give him the inspiration to pursue a career in league and also instilled in him the sense of fair play for which he was noted throughout his representative career.

In 1986 Paul would join Canterbury as part of the Bulldogs' build-up to defend its premiership and in the same year he would be selected represent Australia against Papua New Guinea and the undefeated Kangaroo tour of England and France would follow.

Beginnings

His football career began with the Holy Family under 8's team and would then play with De La Salle College teams to the U/13's before his family moved to Blackheath. In 1979 he would spend a season in Bathurst with St Pats and the following year with Western Division under U/18's.

Achievements

Paul played 100 first grade matches for Canterbury, as well as six tests and represented Australia on 15 occasions. In 1988 he was awarded the Clive Churchill Medal for his man of the match performance at prop in the grand final winning Canterbury team. In 1991 he was a member of Penrith's inaugural premiership winning team.

Post Representation

On retirement from representation in 1997, Paul would follow a successful commercial career with continued involvement with football.
