Len Pascoe

Len was a crowd pleasing right-arm fast bowler. He made his test debut at Lord's against England in 1977 and would play 14 tests and 29 One Day Internationals for Australia.

He boasted an amazing ODI bowling average of 2011. He was known as an aggressive fast bowler who maintained formidable speeds between 145 and 155km/hour.

Beginnings

Len moved to the District with his family when he was six years of age. While at Punchbowl Boys' High School he would win a CHS Blue for Cricket.

His debut with Bankstown would be in 1966-67 in the Alan Tyson's ‘C' Shires side. By 1969-70 he had gained selection in the NSW Colts and in the Metropolitan XI.

Achievements

Len captured 528 wickets in all grades while playing for Bankstown and held the record for most number of first grade wickets with 393 until it was broken by Wayne Holdsworth in 1999-2000.

Len took 309 first class wickets at an average of 25.61. Amongst them were 64 Test wickets at 26.06.

Post Representation

Len has coached the NSW Blues and continues his involvement in the sport by conducting cricket clinics around the state. He is currently the CEO of Len Pascoe Sports Entertainment.
