Terms and conditions – swim and exercise pass giveaway
Instructions, prize and information on how to enter the WIN FREE visits to our Leisure & Aquatic Centres this summer are outlined in the following terms and conditions.
Eligibility
- Participants must submit their full name, contact phone number and a valid email address to be eligible to enter.
- Participants must be at least 18 years old to enter.
- Councillors, Council employees and their immediate family members (spouse, children, parents siblings) are ineligible to enter.
- The competition is limited to one entry per person.
- Entrants acknowledge that by subscribing to Council eNews they agree to have their name disclosed on Council’s corporate social media channels (Facebook, Instagram and/or Twitter) and eNewsletter for marketing and publicity purposes.
How to enter
Competition time frames are as follows:
- The entry link to subscribe to Council’s eNews is available via cb.city/WIN
- The Competition commences at 9am on Monday 17 November 2025 and closes at 11.59pm on Wednesday 31 December 2025.
- Winners will be announced at 12pm on Tuesday 6 January 2026.
- Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will not be considered.
- Council reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence), and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, or who tampers with the entry process.
- Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Council’s discretion.
- Offensive, incomplete, inappropriate, late or lost entries will not be considered.
- Any entries submitted with false information will be discarded.
Prize
- The prize is either one 12-week all-access family membership or two 12-week all-access adult memberships to Canterbury-Bankstown Council’s Leisure & Aquatic Centres (maximum value $501).
- As outlined on our website, our all access membership allows unlimited access to:
- Our pools - Birrong, Roselands and Max Parker Leisure & Aquatic Centres
- Group fitness classes - Birrong and Max Parker Leisure & Aquatic Centres
- Aqua aerobic classes - Birrong, Roselands and Max Parker Leisure & Aquatic Centres
- Sauna - Roselands Leisure & Aquatic Centre
- Membership and multi-visit passes provide access to pools and gym for recreational use only.
- Memberships and multi-passes do not provide access to any programming and events, including but not limited to, swim school and school swimming carnivals.
- Family all-access membership may include immediate family members only - maximum of two adults and three children of the same household.
- The credit is valid at Birrong, Roselands and Max Parker Leisure & Aquatic Centres.
- Prize must be collected at one of the above Leisure & Aquatic Centres.
- Prize must be claimed within 30 days of the winner being contacted.
- The prize is valid 12 months from date of issue – winner can choose their pass to be valid for any continuous 12-week period within these 12 months.
- The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other items.
- Winner must abide by Leisure & Aquatics conditions of entry and any associated booking procedures.
General
Any promotional details written about the competition form part of the rules, and entry constitutes acceptance of these rules.
Winner selection and announcement
- The winner will be randomly selected from all valid entries and will be communicated via social media, and the winner will also be contacted via phone and/or email.
- 1 winner will receive either one 12-week all-access family membership or two 12-week all-access adult memberships to Canterbury-Bankstown Council’s Leisure & Aquatic Centres (maximum value $501).
- If we are unable to contact the winner within 72 hours on the telephone number and/or email address provided on their entry form, that contestant forfeits their prize, and the prize will be randomly selected from the compliant entries.
- The outcome of the competition is final. No correspondence relating to the selection will be entered into.
- By entering, participants agree to have their name used in promotional materials, including the Council’s eNewsletter and social media.
Privacy
Data Use: Personal data collected will be used solely for this promotion and will not be shared with third parties. All personal information collected in connection with this competition is managed in accordance with the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 (NSW).
By entering this competition, entrants consent to the collection, use, and storage of their personal information for the purposes of this promotion and for subscribing to the Council’s eNews newsletter and having their name shared on Council’s social media channels (Facebook, Instagram and/or Twitter) and in the eNewsletter.
Council will not share participants' personal information with third parties that are otherwise not noted above unless required by law.

General conditions
- Competition Details: Any promotional details about the competition form part of the rules, and entry constitutes acceptance of the rules.
- Changes: The promoter reserves the right to amend or withdraw the competition at any time without prior notice.
Copyright and moral rights
- Ownership: Entrants warrant that they are the owner of all copyright in their entry.
Disclaimer and release
- Liability: Council accepts no liability for any claims of intellectual property infringement or moral rights related to an entry to the extent permitted by law.
- Release: The entrant agrees to release Council from any claims concerning infringement and moral rights related to their entry.
