Few players have matched Grahame's elegance and versatility in shot production. He enjoyed a successful playing career for NSW and Australia between 1957 and 1966. He played eight Test matches for Australia including trips to NZ, Jamaica and South Africa.
While playing over sixty eight First Class matches for NSW, the graceful, powerful right-hand strokemaker would achieve a average of 40.32, which would include 17 centuries.

Beginnings
Grahame was born in Croydon Park but became closely associated with the District. As a student at the Belmore Technical College he regularly topped scored which drew interest from the Bankstown District Club.
Achievements
During the 1980 Centenary Test match against England, he took five wickets in the first innings, leaving his name carved for prosperity on the honour board at Lord's in London.
Post Representation
In 2005 Grahame was honoured by Bankstown Council and Bankstown Cricket Club when the Grahame Thomas Oval was opened during the Blues vs. Redbacks ING match on Sunday 23rd October. In 2011 Graham was made Life Member of the Cricket NSW.
