We’re all about having fun and staying safe

COVID-19 has changed the way we socialise, celebrate, and have fun together. We’re still reviewing our events for the coming months. We’ll continue taking direction from State and Federal health authorities, and we’ll let you know as major changes are announced. You can stay up to date here, and on Facebook.

The City of Canterbury Bankstown is hoping to re-commence our events program as soon as health advice recommends it is safe to do so. Our events program will be updated as the situation and guidance changes. Currently, we are planning the following events:

  • Australia Day: 26 January 2022

  • Lunar New Year: January/February 2022

  • Ramadan Nights Lakemba: April/May 2022

  • Bankstown Bites: 30 July  2022

  • Carols in the Park: 4 December 2022

City of Canterbury Bankstown is committed to running COVIDSafe events and conditions of entry are in line with NSW Government requirements.

Please remember:

• If you’re feeling unwell, please stay home;
• Practice physical distancing at all times where practical;
• Wear your mask when indoors or where physical distancing is not possible;
• Sanitise your hands; and
• Be safe and be kind.
