The Canterbury-Bankstown Domestic Violence Liaison Committee is a local interagency made up of community and government organisations who provide support within the domestic violence sector, with a vision to eliminate domestic violence in our community.
The CBDVLC meets bi-monthly on the third Tuesday of every month from 2-4pm. The Committee has two types of memberships, Active and Associate.
Active members are required to attend majority of the meetings and actively participate in the work required for the CBDVLC to be a successful committee, including being actively involved in leading collaborative initiatives in the community to prevent domestic violence. i.e 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence, domestic violence professional development, etc
Associate members can attend meetings and raise items for the agenda prior to the meeting, however cannot vote or represent the CBDVLC in the community without prior agreement.
Please see the Terms of Reference and Membership Form documents for more information on the CBDVLC and membership types.
