Bike donation and check-up
Do you have a working or broken bike you no longer need?
Saturday 30 May, 10am-1pm
You can drop them off at this bike collection event. These bikes will later be fixed and be donated to those in need. Any bikes that can’t be repaired will be dismantled for spare parts and recycled. Bicycles, e-bikes, scooters, e-scooters, children’s bikes, balance bikes and tricycles are all accepted for collection.
No registration is needed to donate a bike, just show up on the day.
Plus, you can book a spot for a check-up and tune of your own bike. Our bike mechanics can make small repairs and teach the basics of bike safety checks, adjustments and how to fix a flat tyre.
This service is for pushbikes only, e-bikes and e-scooters cannot be serviced.
Please note you must book one time slot per bike to be checked.
Registrations to have a bike check-up are essential.
This service is only available to residents of Canterbury-Bankstown.
How to get there
Parking is available on-site and the location is easy to reach via Kingsgrove Road if you’re driving. If you’re coming by public transport, Kingsgrove Station is the closest stop which is a 20-minute walk to the event.
